Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Receives and verifies administrative forms used in establishing the salary of employees. Verifies data entry of payroll information into the payroll system. Audits payroll reports before information is transmitted.

* Enters W-4 information as needed, payroll corrections and adjustments, and payroll deductions into the payroll system. Responds to team member inquiries regarding payroll information.

* Check off as needed any documentation received from Human Resources.

* Review 401k loans, making any changes to employee deductions when applicable.

* Input any deductions or earnings when corresponding forms are received.

* Notify supervisors and managers when they need to approve timecards and have documentation to payroll for processing.

* Ensure all timecards are approved, notifying any supervisors of issues needing corrected. And hours are correct for salary employees.

* Balance the all deductions/earnings you are responsible for before submitting payroll

* Review and notify supervisor of outstanding requests for time off

* Make any necessary adjustments, corrections, etc. to an employee's pay before submitting.

* Submit Payroll by the deadline. Receive, sort, and hand out checks/vouchers and upload files.

* Researches and corrects discrepancies.

* Performs general administrative and clerical duties including but not limited to filing and processing.

* Assists other locations with monthly inventory counts.

* Performs other duties as assigned internal and external

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Some college courses in banking and finance or related area preferred.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Gaming industry experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Access, Excel, and Word. Must possess excellent communication skills and effective public speaking skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents such as technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from Guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to speak effectively before groups and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
